<p data-path-to-node="6,0">The European Union has provided a new humanitarian grant worth<span data-path-to-node="6,0" data-index-in-node="46" style="">Euro5.3 million</span>UNFPA to support the continuity of life-saving health and protection services for 250,000 women and girls in the southern and eastern governorates.</p><p data-path-to-node="6,1">Funding is channelled to ensure the sustainable operation of<span data-path-to-node="6,1" data-index-in-node="34">Health Facilities</span>Providing obstetric emergency care services in areas of high need, along with supporting<span data-path-to-node="6,1" data-index-in-node="128">8 Safe Spaces</span>Provides protection and psychosocial support services, operating<span data-path-to-node="6,1" data-index-in-node="194">Specialized mental health center</span>He</p><p data-path-to-node="6,2">The new support contributes to covering the operational deficit of service facilities and avoiding the closure of safe spaces and response mechanisms, as part of an international partnership whose funding has exceeded 60 million euros since 2018 to enhance the recovery environment and health resilience.</p>
