<p>The General Authority for the Preservation of Historic Cities in Aden, in cooperation with UNESCO and the European Union, has launched operational steps to issue the first "Guidelines for Traditional Architecture" in Old Aden.</p><p>The project aims to establish approved engineering and technical standards for restoration and maintenance, as well as document traditional building materials to protect the urban fabric and historical identity of the city in future development projects.</p>
